Process manager for its electroplating department

Description of the position:

As a process manager in the electroplating department you will help us managing all production
process parameters for our four manufacturing lines. You will be a real solution provider working in a
close relationship with the production manager and the maintenance department.
You will also be in charge of our water treatment plant and all environment-related aspects within
the electroplating department.
Location: Herstal (Liège, Belgium)

What we are looking for:

Organized and solution minded

• Management of all production process parameters in the electroplating department
  • Definition, analysis and follow-up of these parameters
  • Process assessment and improvement
• Starting new equipment’s off on the manufacturing lines
• Guidance of all maintenance operations on lines in close relationship with the maintenance department
• Dealing with external providers and subcontractors
• Management of the water treatment plan
• Follow-up on environment-related aspects such as the environmental permit
• Document management under ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards (requirement for the automotive sector)

Team worker

• Working at the heart of the electroplating department in close relationship with the production manager and the maintenance department
• Working with the administrative and financial department regarding purchases

Education

• Industrial engineer (in process engineering or chemistry)
• An experience of 5 to 10 years in a similar position is required
• An experience in electroplating would be appreciated
• An experience with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards would be an asset

Languages

• You are fluent in French and English
• Knowledge of German and Dutch would be appreciated

• You are good at working within a team and have some experience in team management
• You have already been taking part into internal and external audits in your previous job(s)
