Procurement Manager (Europe)

Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing processes
  • Responsible for high quality P2P process in order to reach sustainable level of plant(s) operational activity
  • Manages team workload
  • Make analysis to propose process improvement projects
  • Evaluate option to simplify process with buyers
  • Develop dashboard to monitor efficiency of transactional team
  • Supports buyers in prioritizing daily activities
  • Work to minimize the total cost of transactions
  • Ensures POs created aligned with preferred suppliers and contracts negotiated by category managers/leads, procurement & warehouse managers/leads
  • Leadership
  • Leads transactional team and manages their performance
  • Track KPI’s to improve speed of the process
  • Stakeholders
  • Works with the category managers/leads, procurement & warehouse managers/leads
  • Cooperates with users to fit to their needs
  • Collaborate with supplier accounting department

Description du profil

Key Competencies

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in transactional management and university degree
  • English (min. Level C1) - French (min. Level B1) are mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of SAP MM
  • Experience of collaboration with Account Payable team
  • Comprehensive knowledge of purchasing and basic understanding of supply chain management 
  • Ability to manage entire order to payment process
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to forge internal customer/ external supplier relationships
  • Ability to comply with new processes within the organization.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Manage, develop, retain team members
  • Resilience to work under pressure
  • Continuous improvement knowledge and mindset
  • ERP experience and ability to master end to end P2P activities
